Hi there @Flumpy ...yes it's already here and the garden is loving it!!
      So are we...no watering required.

Only downside is that I have no excuse for not tackling the mountain of ironing today......but I'm thinking hard. All suggestions gratefully accepted.;)

      Enjoy your day everyone.:spinning:

Good morning Upsy. Buy clothes and linen that does not require ironing. I can't even remember when I last utilised an iron ... and that was probably for a sewing project making curtains!

                  Hello Vicky:gmorning: how are you?

Too be utterly honest I do try and 'smooth and fold ' straight from the line.:blue thumb: But there are things ,mainly hubs shirts ( and a few of Dad's) that do need an iron , and for the last
month I am embarrassed to say that I have found better things to do in the garden!!!
So the little pile that was easily hidden is now a mountain that can no longer be behind the cushions on the landing sofa anymore and it can't go unnoticed when you walk up the stairs....so drastic measures are called for......I just have to do it!!

I always hang shirts, blouses, etc, immediately on hangers and hand iron when damp ... if the material is not 100% cotton it works perfectly. They dry within minutes here on the line in the shade!

I am fine, thank you, catch up with you shortly. xx

                      Good day
@Upsydaisy I like ironing and I guess I'd better as that is about 25% of workroom activity! If you get the chance, treat yourself to an iron with an attached boiler or tank.
My small system has a water tank that you can refill without turning the iron off - so easy. And it makes ironing a breeze :)

ince I have a tv in pretty much any room I'm in, I have company whilst swinging it around. :)
It is raining today and I'm happy about that. Free water is always welcome.
I forgot to take pic of me having my walnut bread with my home made marmalade yesterday. It just looks like any other brown loaf as the walnuts are pretty much ground small and then the walnut flour is totally undetectable to the eye. Tastes fab though. Today maybe I'll venture into the jar of lemon/lime marmalade. Pretty sour - makes the insides of your cheeks meet
I'm off this morning to pick up my first primula. Excitement!!!
Take care all and keep dry :)

                        Morning Lori, :gmorning:
I do actually have one of those irons lurking somewhere in its box still , bought it a good few years ago, but thought it was too big and cumbersome .....at the time. Now I'm not even sure my hands / arms could cope with using it, but nevertheless thanks for jogging my memory will have to hunt it out and try it again.:dbgrtmb:
                        Have a great day.:)

As we're no longer going anywhere we only wear casual clothes that don't need ironing. :blue thumb: Actually, they do need some ironing but nobody is going to see us anyway :heehee:

@Upsydaisy you're not fooling me, I've seen your posts about getting things done and you could run circles around me! Those smaller unit iron heads only weigh a few ounces more than a regular household iron. Now, my bigger industrial, the head of it weighs 7 pounds and that can be a workout. :phew:

Got my primula. Now to search posts for pointers :)
