I love that programme too @shiney. They certainly know their trade and still follow traditional methods and skills, I find it very interesting.

 

Hi everyone.

Today my dearly loved Dad died at 4:15 this afternoon. My younger sister and I held his hand and played his favourite songs from way back when starting in the 30s all through the night . My older sister and brother joined with us today and we were all holding his hand. His death was peaceful and exactly as he wanted it to be...at home in his own lounge ( hospital bed was provided) overlooking his garden, ponds and birds.

Sadly though he never got to see his wildlife garden that I had sowed earlier this year come into bloom.

Sweet Dreams Dad, reunited with Mum and all your much loved Dogs. Rest easy, your work is done.

He died just a week after the anniversary of my Mum's death.

 

@Upsydaisy so sorry to hear about your dad. I remember you saying that he wasn't too good a few days ago and not seeing you on here, i thought that something might have happened. At least he got to celebrate your mom's birthday before he went, all the best @Logan

Thanks @KFF . Hardest part now is telling his grandsons and they not be able to attend his funeral.

I pop my hair into the washing machine. I treat it to dry cleaners on my birthday.

Today I have starved myself. Last night I did myself a pork shoulder steak. YUCK! One bite and that was it. It was so bitter. Never mind, foxy liked it. So I presume I had a bit of food poisoning. Felt really washed out. Never mind eh?
