    Good day
It is climbing up to near freezing and we might get as high as 42f 6c? today. This is below normal for us this time of year and this waiting for things to heat up is getting on my nerves a bit.

I've got three episodes of my beloved Corrie to watch/listen to which is always pleasant on a Sunday morning.

Take care all and keep germ free :)

All I can offer is...marigolds are the smiles of angels. And the cat who is keeping a beady eye on you? Boycat, aged over 15. So called as when I took him and his two siblings in I was " reliably (!!!) informed all three were female. So HE was Cara until I found him atop of Beata... Hasty vet visit and the name was all I could think of... ( no harm done thankfully!) He is light of my life and weigha around 2 stone..Could YOU resist those eyes..

Thank you @moyra ....well in a way .yes.

I mentioned about him suddenly becoming frailer a few weeks back. He started to go downhill at Easter and at first we thought he had have a couple of strokes. It turned out that he also had Pancreatic cancer as well. He never wanted to go to hospital so he had palliative care provided at home. He was almost 95, but nevertheless still in shock ..5 weeks ago he was here frail but here, now gone with P cancer!! He never complained apart from becoming cross at his inability to walk far. Even on Friday he said he was fine ,just getting muddled with all the carers and nurses coming and going. They all loved him with his cheeky banter!!

Thanks @Snorky85 .....yes the tears just won't stop.....even songs on the radio are setting me off.

It happens to everyone I know but the really, really sad part is the longest time I haven't seen my Dad for was for only 2wks ( holidays) , but when he needed me the most recently I had stayed away for 4wks !!! All because of this ******* Covid. I thought I was protecting him and I knew he had my younger sister and a whole troop of brilliant Drs and carers looking after him....but we didn't get that hug!! We spoke on Friday and I said I would be over in a week or so's time to plant out his summer garden and that maybe if he felt better we could sit out together on his patio with a coffee and cake ....keeping the required distance apart.

I just hope he knew I was there hugging him, holding his hand and showering him with kisses for his last 20 hrs.

Aw!!! do you really think so @Snorky85 , he slipped into unconsciousness at 9 am on Saturday morning and he never woke up. I stayed with all the time, there was one point around 3am that we thought he was going but it was if he was waiting for my other sister and brother to arrive later yesterday morning. He even shed tears as we all stood around him. they ran down his face....we were all astounded!!
