Most of the tulips have gone over but some are still going strong.

Not been about recently, but we moved on to the nursery late last autumn, which was run by the previous owners for some 35 years, we removed 21 skips of rubbish, and the place looked no different, making ground now, after internet orders, and the lock down, and the clean up, feeling 70, not 50, so hope to be a contibuting member again soon.

Its been a uphill battle, caravans, aspesthdos (see cannot even spell) chemicals that have been banned since 1998, let alone the mountains of compost laced with old plastic pots and trays, if anyone wants old compost bags, I have about 30,000.

I'm sure someone could make use of the bags. In desperation having run out of 1 litre pots this week I made a few out of a compost bag.

Beautiful @Upsydaisy. I am jealous of your sun ... not often you will hear me say that! We are 18c windy and grey waiting for the rain but the sun has popped out! Enjoy the peace of your garden. By the way, I don't see room for more plants. ;)

@Upsydaisy, yout garden looks gorgeous. I love your Delphiniums, one plant I've tried many times but always failed with ( same with Lupins ) . I think it's because everything's in containers in MPC .

PS.... if it were mine I would have the odd Lily scattered about in the border in the top photo.

@Upsydaisy they look beautiful, delphiniums always get had by slugs here so don't grow them anymore.

@KFF lupins have a long tap root so probably won't do well in containers.

I have Lillies on the otherside of the garden @KFF....budding up nicely, so won't be long now.

I have my Glads and Peacock Orchids ( if they decide to bloom this year) in the top pic border, plus a newly created ( :fingers crossed::fingers crossed:) Hellibore garden. The middle bit dividing the border ( with the stone stand) is a shingled Hosta garden... as of yet not very exciting Hostas but I've got some more young ones coming along nicely by the greenhouse. I also have my eye on one my sister has ...so when this is all over..........;) IMG_20200515_140038_hdr.jpg
