Sorry to keep banging on but for goodness sake! Cummings has to go and the longer Boris defends him the worse it gets.

 

I disagree, John, just because the Media Hyenas, a Labour Party Leader trying to make a name for himself, and the Leader of the SNP House of Commons who only wants to damage the UK Government are howling for Cummings blood, or any other Government blood they can get doesn't mean it should happen. The TV Media and Journalists have never stopped retreading the same interviews, using the same headlines, finding any and every "expert" they can to carry on what is a campaign of negativeness whenever they find and try to expand on any "scandal" or action of a Government official they can......while they, themselves, have done things that are more than questionable.
Look at the past and how many times have the so call neutral Press called for the resignation of any MP or private person in their sights, succeeded, carried out illegal methods of investigations, phone hackings, untrue but still damaging allegations against people and got away with it.......not may of them paid the price. This is a political campaign not one that really about a person and his family in the relatively safe environment of his car to stay locked down and quarantined at his Parents House.
Don't you find it strange that a man in a small Village, has a photographic memory, binoculars, who always takes notes of who and what he see on his "walks" see's a "scruffy man" with a woman and child in the Village, and then makes a note of his car number.??...(which by the way is well known to the Media and why would a man with a photographic memory need to make notes?), and then decides, days later, that it as he put's it "resembles" Mr Cummings. This constant hammering on by the Media, the SNP, the Labour ex-Corbyn supporter Starmer, is just a form of pressure and brainwashing to say..Cummings must go just for the sake of peace and quiet.......until the next time.

 

Why? And will the same logic be applied to Tahir Ali? And what of the hacks that are literally climbing over each other at his front door and playing a massive TV screen right outside his front door, all likely scaring his family (and in particular his son) witless.

First visit was clearly made for the welfare of his 4 year old autistic son. Anyone who has lived or worked with autistic people knows that you cannot put them into unfamiliar situations at short notice or they will quite literally melt down to the point of destruction.

The second visit has no actual evidence - it is all merely on the say-so of an anonymous witness and then that has been jumped on and augmented beyond all reasonability

 

That's a lot of speculation. Cummings is going to make a statement later, after he gets back from the seaside I presume

 

I'm merely reiterating what the BBC, ITV, and Sky News have been endlessly repeating for day, John. The facts about the person who allegedly "spotted" Cummings were reported on the BBC and Sky News i.e. having a photographic memory, yet carrying around a notebook to write down any "suspicious" person, (what is suspicious about a man, his Wife, and child walking along a Village road?, and originally stating that he didn't think it was Cummings until the following day and how come nobody else saw him?. And, as I said, Cummings car licence plate number is known to a wide variety of Media.
The UK TV media is supposed to be global news covering organisations but now, ever since BREXIT, seem to have become only able to see "with one eye" presenting us with only one subject that they repeat endlessly hour after hour This whole uproar is all to do with trying to bring down a Top Government Aide, for political reason, who is much disliked for his attitude towards the Media, MP's and the Establishment, it's not about "breaking the rules". I've not heard the Media or the Opposition Leader condemning any of the Public who have really ignored social distancing.
I haven't bought a newspaper for over 40 years on the realisation that they only supply Bad News, speculation, misinformation, and lies. I'd rather use my own judgement on matters, whatever they are, than let the TV Media and Press tell me how to think.

 

Sorry @ARMANDII there is only one person that knows the truth here and he isn't going to spill the beans. As for the suspicious person who saw him and knew his number plate, that is just a stitch up, the police will have Cummings whereabouts on their systems, CCTV and number plate recognition, but they can't publish that as it would be abuse of their powers. So a tip off to a friendly local sympathiser starts the ball rolling. There is no smoke without fire.

 

He might be a saint for past good deeds but to put others lifes at risk cannot go unpunished.

 

So will that apply to Steven Kinnock and Tahir Ali as well?

That is what all of this is about @clanless - Brexit. The media, much of which is staffed and controlled by extreme left activists are doing everything they can to have the transition period extended. It seems they know that the EU project is failing already, and if the UK leaves on a WTO basis with Italy following close behind, the whole deck of cards will come crumbling down. It wouldn't even surprise me if in years to come it was revealed that this Coronavirus was somehow linked to global events that those on the extreme left wanted to stop.
