Well the money would be nice plus I'd have a bit more freedom.

Just wondering about the app, got a feeling it's either not going to be ready on time or it doesn't work.

Has it been produced by the people responsible for NHS IT systems?

"People will be told by contact tracers to self-isolate for 14 days if they have come into contact with someone displaying symptoms"

What abòut regular testing for all those responsible for deliveries, and letting people know if their letters, parcels, food, etc. has been handled by an infectious person?

And releasing infections data down to postcode level.

If they say that your postman now has the virus does that mean you have to quarantine for 14 days? We get post every day but don't touch it for at least four days. We have not been within 2 metres of him for 15 minutes and haven't touched the mail for the period they say paper may hold the infection.

If it looks like a bill, put it in the garden for 14 days

How many cases of cv do they get every day on the IOW.
Only I can't see how you can test the app if nobody is catching it

Breaking news! Police have said Cummings trip to Barnard Castle "may have been a minor breach of regulations".

So not a clear, serious breach, like pausing to take a photo whilst out walking, putting a pair of socks in your trolley whilst food shopping at Tesco, or buying Easter eggs.

I'm glad the police have now put it into perspective.

Its government logic...nobody on the Isle of White catches Covid, therefore the app has been 100% successful in tracing everyone that caught it!:loll:

How strange. Nissan shutting down their Spanish factory, yet keeping the UK one - despite Brexit...

"Prof Chris Whitty, the UK government's chief medical adviser, told the briefing it was "essential" that people continue to social distance and wash their hands.

"If someone was to go into the loo because they had to do that, it's absolutely critical that they wipe everything down, wash their hands all the way through", he said."

How do you wash your hands all the way through, inject them with soap?
