The reverse of yesterday. This morning was sunny and breezy but the cloud moved in early afternoon. It threatened rain but held off - that's coming tonight. Right now fog is moving in too. 14C/57F

We had some light rain yesterday evening but dry out there now. When I went out at 4.30 a.m. it seemed to be the mildest morning so far this year. A full day of sunshine is forecast.

I had to look twice at the temperature reading of the Garden Weather Station as it's recording 70f even though the winds are gusting up to 12mph and are still coming from the East and NorthEast. It's not rained all night and the weather is still dry although there are heavy showers, rain, and Thunderstorms forecast for tonight. Right now the pressure reading is 1000hpa.

Well, I've just been treated to the finest Electrical Storm in the UK that I've seen in over 35 years:hapydancsmil: I love Thunder Storms and this evening at around 9.45pm I could see flashes lighting my Kitchen windows and realised there was a storm approaching. I spent the next 20 minutes in the Front Door Porch sheltering from the heavy rain and watching Nature's Fireworks:love30:.....absolutely fantastic:hate-shocked: There were all sorts of Lightning strikes from the Sheet and some really unbelievable long, strong, Forked Lightning right overhead, the Thunderclaps were nearly as impressive with the claps overhead so strong that it seemed to go through the body and seemed loud enough to break a window. I haven't seen such a great Electrical Storm since I was in the RAF in the Middle East and Africa. It's wandered off into the distance but I'm for it will come back or there will be more coming in from the East.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:
