Our blue jays are also nasty to smaller birds. Raiding their nests and eating eggs or chicks. We lost most of our crows to west nile a few years back so don't see many of them.

It is going to be a day with a "mix of sun and cloud" which looks like more sun than cloud and a high of 68-70f. Ideal for puttering around outside. And I hope I get all of my inside chores and then errands done by noon

Our fabric shops just reopened and I want to buy some bright fabric for purse linings. I had to set that new craft I want to try, to the side so as to take care of business. I do still have some work in house but luckily the major jobs are behind me

I have another two loaves of bara brith in the oven right now. Later this afternoon I'm going to pick up a take out meal from a friend/restaurant owner/son of Welsh people and I want to take him a loaf. Those are so good and filling too. A piece, well buttered as recommended, will keep me feeling full for the whole morning

Good morning all up with the birds this morning. No I have been up and down all night I really shouldn't drink tea after five o'clock in the afternoon. Have a good day all, stay safe and well.

It is cool this morning.47f. But it is dry and will be sunny and up to 65f, according to the weather guessers.

I've got lots of little jobs and puttering to do and enjoy this type of day. I did purchase colourful lining fabrics yesterday to make purses or wallets and would like to get to them but I refuse to be inside when it is so nice outside and that bit of fun will have to wait for cloudy, rainy days.

Good morning all it’s cloudy but dry here at the moment, going to cut the lawn then finally visit my Parents, it’s my dads 80th next week, can’t believe he’s 80.

Another cool sunny day is promised for me. I have a few things to tend to and a little shopping to do but nothing urgent so all in all, another day of puttering

I hope everyone has a good day and now that a bit of socializing is allowed, keep that 6 foot pole handy to keep guests at proper distance

Hi Lori, I’ve just got back home and going to cut my lawn while it’s dry, hope your day warms up a little

 

Hope everyone is keeping well. You have my full sympathy @shiney as my arm ,shoulder and back are still causing me a lot of discomfort too.
I am keeping very busy out in the garden , albeit that everything is taking me a lot longer to complete but at least it takes my mind off of other things during the time I'm out there.
