I remember, when I was back in ancient Rome, that going to the toilet was a social occasion.

Walking on a footpaths could cause death from being hit by speeding cyclists who expect pedestrians to jump into the road to get out of their way. Nowhere is safe, not even sitting on the bog Case of the Exploding Toilets

My friends in Manchester have some lovely walks to go on including one on the Tow path of the Canal only 200 yards away but their biggest danger is being hit be Cyclists speeding along the path.:wallbanging::gaah:

Must be a coincidence - another outbreak at a meat processing factory:

A coronavirus outbreak at a meat factory was shrouded in "secrecy", it has been claimed.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock revealed there had been cases in Kirklees, West Yorkshire, at Thursday's briefing.

I'm trying to find the odd positive amongst all this awful tragic situation which is very difficult but the way I see it is albeit horrific and so very sad for all those that have lost their lives to this virus as time has worn on there seems to be some glimmer of hope that at least the scientists et al are trying to find ways for treatments for this virus...at first it was clutching at straws as to what would work to save people ,slowly but surely things seem to be progressing. It may not help all but it's a step in the right direction.:fingers crossed:

I am in Ireland and the virus here has been suppressed efficiently and well. Still so many deaths especially in nursing homes. As all who are over I think 65 and especially over 70, and with a serious medical issue as well, I have been " cocooned" for months now. But that is a normal way of life for me as my immune system is down. The response from community groups out here in Mayo has been outstanding in supporting actively old folk. Today for example I needed a prescription renewal and the meds delivered. All I did was make two short phone calls and it is all organised. They know all the vulnerable folk etc. And that is one positive in this appallingly hard situation. That people are pulling together. I know the situation in England, my homeland, is very very different and ache for all there. We all have a long road ahead still.

John, I may be thick, but what is a 3 piece loo set? I am surprised women don't put the lid down. One wouldn't open a drawer and then leave it open ... but maybe some do! :hate-shocked:

I hate to think how they are doing it.
I saw a video of them killing pigs during what I presume was swine flu, it was totally disgusting.
