Meet Boycat, the face that launched a thousand ( at least!) ring pulls... Well over 15 and my oldest and dearest rescue.
This is his I AM HUNGRY and I WILL SIT HERE AND STARE AT THEE UNTIL I GET FOOD look..

When I took him and his siblings in the rescue told me they were all girls. Months later when I caught him ( then called Cara!) atop his sister... Swift trip to the vet for both of them. He adds a deeper meaning to " companion animal" as I am always home. Loves to creep under my bedclothes and has a deep joyous purr... and is a mighty ratter. Boycat; I love you!

 

@Islander77 he's lovely, i hope that you cought him and his sister in time?

 

I'd never be without our goldies Barley and Berry.

Barley on the left, he's always keeping a eye on us with every move, then Berry follows him in what he does.

 

lol.. I never thought of that... I think it was a trial.... run... we hit the road to the vet so fast..And she had shown no sign of being in season. I treasure every day with him. Lost his sister 18 months ago.

 

That's great news and sorry for your loss, i know how that feels.

 

Thanks. It was the weekend my dog died too so it was unspeakable. Both were old. But... My family were as appalled as I was and ordered me to go and get three more cats. So I did. Plenty of stray cats in Ireland. Hence Oliver, Selkie and Bella, young street rescues in Sligo. Not replacing Beata and Scallywag; honouring them by rescuing more. They were both rescues as Boycat is. It had been decided that I not get another dog as my mobility is too challenged and will only get worse now.

 

My maternal Grandfather was from Sligo, an Egan, a lovely gentle man.
