Well what can I say other than wow. I did visit the original thread to follow the journey from inception as I am new to the forums. Sadly most of the pictures are blurred out and overtaken with a photobucket logo.

Sorry about that. Photobucket messed up big time when they changed their policy under new management and wanted outrageous money for hosting pics.

I agree. I keep intending going back to some of my old threads and replacing the pictures with the originals. Fortunately I don't trust only storing them on other people's sites or in the cloud, but it's a pain in the bum trying to rectify things.

I spread as much bad news about Photobucket as possible! :old:

I wish I had an estate, Coachman. I only have ½ an acre and I sometimes look over the back wall at the field behind me but the guy won't sell it (or even a teensy, weensy bit of it) :(

Anyone from Gardener's Corner is most welcome to come and look at my small garden. It's 9 miles directly south of Limerick City on a back road. I don't get back to Oxford much now since my mother died a couple of years ago.

The choice is entirely yours, and you will of course always remain welcome here, however if you are visiting us, please refrain from making posts that would discourage others from using the forum, even if that is only be implication that you have had some sort of disagreement with the Admin team.

For clarity, everyone gets equal 'scope' here at Gardeners Corner, with the emphasis being on like-minded folks discussing gardening and almost any other subject that arises in life. Now, more than ever, we need to keep each other company and encourage each other through the coming months.

A blaze of Red Hot Pokers in front of the water. And believe it or believe it not I have one red hot poker actually growing in the water's edge.

Beschorneria yuccoides in a large pot beside the pond.
In a pot the flower stem only reaches 4'.
When it was it the ground, the flower stem grew to 14' tall and got in everyone's way.

I find that the pink water lilies flower constantly whereas the red, white and yellow ones are spasmodic.
