We got a fair amount of rain, it is 74f and more rain is on the radar. I've just checked the gutters to the rainbarrels to make sure they're all clear for the next downpour in approximately 27 minutes.. according to the guessers. If I hustle, I can lay some more grass seed and soil before it starts!

 

I'm retiring, I'll still be working just not getting paid for it.
Isn't that the definition of retirement.

 

Where were you when I got myself roped into making all those masks? I sure could have used a volunteer!

I got some of the seed and soil dropped and it is now raining again. How can those guesser guys be right within 5 minutes accuracy of it starting to rain today but only 50% right about IF it will rain tomorrow?

Sunny and humid until mid afternoon and then clouds started to brew. We're promised rain this evening but not much sign of it at the moment apart from a few spots. 19C/66F

At 6.15am walked Barley around the woods i didn't take my jacket and i felt that it was a bit too cold but i thought make the most of it before it got too hot.

A lovely morning. An invigorating breeze and a joy to be alive. Four of the cats came along when I wandered the lanes picking wild flowers. Life is sweet.

 

Sunny with a temp of 19C out there at the moment. High later of 30C with a low tonight of 16C.

Hot ... went to 32c yesterday. We top out between 4-6pm.

 

Temp gauge (in shade) says 27c and car (in the sun) say 33c

As usual I'm getting various readings.
31.8C on the sensor in new position.
Max min has said 34C.
It's 5C in the fridge and minus 18 in the freezer.
I think that about covers it all.

 

Too hot to do much, so I am on the hunt for my lettuce seeds that have gone AWOL and I really need to get another batch on the go.
Hubs is dozing on a sun lounger.
Too hot for comfort!
