    Hi Sheal,

    My tallest one is 2 Metres=6Ft high and 122 Cm =4 Ft spread,..i will be pruning this back somewhat next Spring because of its location,..blooms from June to September,..mine are a bit early beginning their blooms,..one of mine i keep in a container which i keep pruning to keep it small,..approx i Metre high=3 Ft and its doing fine.

    Its best to pick a spot to plant one where you don't intend having to move it,..moist well drained soil is ideal,..its a robust shrub come rain or shine and related to the Hollyhock and Hibiscus,..there is of course a pink one,..Lavatera Rose Mallow.

          About Lupins and Delphiniums,..when the main bloom is almost faded on each of these i cut off the main bloom rather than wait until they are fully finished blooming in the belief that it saves the plant energy from trying to complete the first bloom and so divert all its energy into producing bigger side shoot blooms,..the Lupins will produce 3 or four good sized side blooms and the Delphiniums will produce 4 to 6 side blooms.

              That was the reason for me asking the height Philip. :) I've seen it advertised on a number of occasions and the information said it was dwarf - which is the one I'm interested in. However, sometimes the given info is wrong so I'm glad I checked with you, thanks.

                      I love orange roses, don't know what it is about them, maybe warmth. I had Oranges & Lemons and still have Sunseeker. That Lavatera is very pretty and delicate.

                        @Victoria ,

                        Victoria i agree with you there,..there is something appealing about Orange coloured roses,..i love your 'Sunseeker' and in particular that last image,..it glows.

                        That Lavatera 'Baby Barnsley' is a very delicate bloom,..like paper tissue and can produce a reasonable sized bloom.

                          Philip, the top photo is of the Oranges and Lemons before it died fairly suddenly. It was a single flower where the Sunseeker is a cluster and smells nice too.

                          Oh, lucky you with the date ... you never know!
