                Hi @strongylodon We quite like this size so think we will take it back to the trunk each year. I wonder if we will get the October blooming that sometimes happens. They cut them back drastically every couple of years in the towns. As most towns line the roads with them, guess they don't want the horrible mess the pods make.

                            Hi Caroline, I like the taller Alstromeria too, those behind my greenhouse are for cuttting and have been non stop since the start of April. Yes the Brugs and Strelitizia come into my frost free greenhouse over winter - kept at 5C min.
