Well you can forget about the cheery smile from now on then they don't work very well when wearing a mask.
Went to the barber this morning, wore a mask.
Facial expressions don't exist anymore and having a conversation is not the same.
A bit like being on here you have to explain your self all the time because no one can see your face.

Which post #number do you mean? (As there appears to be more than one with this problem). As above, I think Simon must be, when editing posts, deleting both text and BBCode (forum code), causing issues with subsequent display as Xenforo (GC forum software) will complicate matters by adding additional BBCode closing tags and make matters worse.

I think it may be that he highlights the quote and instead of clicking on 'Reply' the little black box he is clicking on 'copy' in his computer and then pasting it. But Simon should be able to tell you. :blue thumb: :)

And the considerate cyclists (yes, some do exist!) who give you an audible warning as they approach, followed by a cry of "coming through" after you've moved aside, should also be rewarded with a corresponding cry of "thank you".

No, it doesn't work like that. @shiney can you please explain so I can attempt to replicate.

For example, copying and pasting produces this, with the blue arrow link to original post.

Example 2, attempting to post nested quotes using copy and paste - same issue

              No,well,it might be.
What I meant was, why has Simon's post come out in the same writing as mine, it looks like I wrote all of it apart from the quote at the top.

This is what I get when clicking on the black box 'Reply'

This is what I get when copy and pasting - it doesn't replicate Simon's nor yours

I see no images in your post, I think you have a problem with posting in this forum that should be sorted out ASAP.

One good reason that proves wearing a mask can endanger a persons health...:frown:

Not a problem here as we have no gun shops - of that sort. I'm assuming you didn't mean gunships :heehee:

That's because the image I was referring to has now been deleted from your forum post.

                  Did you delete it?

[QUOTE="it is a clear sign of common decency and respect for others. Just like the people who give you a wide berth on a crowded footpath, a cheery smile and a bit of banter maybe. It does lift the spirit.[/QUOTE]

I agree. One of my biggest fears with the masks is how they can be off-putting and even a bit scary, for example to children. But I think as the reasons for them are becoming shared more widely, its starting to be seen as a good thing. I was walking home in mine past the local school just as everyone was leaving, and a young boy smiled and gave me a "thumbs up" on the mask, which I thought was a nice thing. Little by little I think most people are starting to see them as the slightly irritating, but on balance quite positive, additions that they are. Yet I can't deny I am longing for the day they're deemed no longer needed, when I will cast mine off with great delight.

Anyone notice the Chief Waffler on TV tonight, took the mask off to talk to the camera, folded it up and shoved it in his pocket.
I thought that was exactly what you were NOT supposed to do with them.

If you are wearing a mask to protect other people, how is it that the droplets dont go through your mask to infect others, but, apparently your mask does not stop droplet coming in to infect you.

I've always been an in/out shopper, only place I might browse or linger are garden centres, so, if they make it mandatory, you go and wander round the garden centre, with mask, decide to have a coffee, so take it off.
                  Its total madness.

They seem to think people will feel safer with masks so go out and blow lots of cash, I think it will be the opposite bearing in mind most people are not wearing them at the moment.
