There's still the medical quality mask v diy mask v bandana, etc. debate to be held (I've had 6 medical masks since before lockdown).

Perhaps there's also an appropriate designs to wear in shops debate. My bandana is a boring camo one, unlike this:

I wore a mask at Tesco Express for the first time today (other supermarkets are available) It did make my glasses steam up even with the nose clip tight..........but ha it's worth it.

Do your glasses go completely over the top edge of the mask? If they do and the sides are fairly tight then they shouldn't steam up.

Well, that's over before it even started Coronavirus latest news: 'Unrealistic and unfair' to expect police to enforce face coverings in shops, says Police Federation

What next, will shops add a £100 fine to your bill at the checkout, a bit like enforcing the carrier bag charge?

Reading elsewhere about the level of compliance on the London underground, only 3 in every 1,000 stopped for not wearing a face mask have been fined:

"Mr Khan added: "Our enforcement officers and the BTP have stopped in the region of 18,500 people stopping travelling because they refuse to wear face coverings and actually the fines that have had to be issued so far is only 59."

A reported on the TV said the other morning, on the tube he was the only one in the carriage wearing a mask, he didn't say if he was the only one in the carriage:biggrin:

But I assume they all take them off once they are on the train.

Stop the world. I want to get off. Is a favourite saying of mine.

'Pete's dictionary. Sarcastic. To be supported with elastic. Allowing give and take from all angles.

Regarding masks and problems with wearing them. I imagine ones attitude when challenged could also play a big part. Remain calm and explain. After all, the enforcer is only doing their job.

Stay Safe at whatever the cost.

Like parents will do in supermarkets, so they can (eventually) shout "stoppit Tyson/etc." at their out of control kids running around into people and touching everything (who don't need to wear masks)?

P.S. Remember those distant days (April) when police had enough resources to enforce the law in supermarkets? Coronavirus UK: Police threaten to search public's shopping trolleys | Metro News

Shops round here have been enforcing the amount of people they allow in and they say they shall also refuse entry when the mask rule applies. Even the big Sainsbury's had been stopping non-wrinklies to enter on wrinkly times -which I think is ending.
