The admin team cannot and will not go into details regarding any other member, so therefore I cannot go into details; however, to try and hopefully draw a line under this, I would ask everyone to remember that a post like the one quoted by @pete almost certainly does not refer to a post in the same thread, or indeed it may also refer to discussions/actions/reports that have taken place elsewhere, including from private messages. From time to time on discussion forums you will see this sort of thing happen - often known as a flounce - and almost without exception they are posts written to draw a sympathy vote ("please don't go" "we hope you stay" etc) whilst at the same time attempting to hide or draw attention away from something that has happened elsewhere. Only those involved in the situation and decision making process have the full facts at hand.

Now, time we got back to what we is been talking about ;)

@pete, like others I wondered what could have been misunderstood in your posts. Seems like your innocent - for once:biggrin:

Harry, I'm always innocent, it's all the others, they pick on me. ;)

That should read "you're innocent, " btw.

@pete you and I must be twins, I'm always innocent as well! Or should that be "I is always innocent as well, I is" :frown:

Getting back on subject, once a year we went to the seaside on what were known as "Club Trips." @HarryS I would think that you would remember these, and the way the coach breaking down outside a pub on the way there! :heehee:

My mum and dad wouldn't let me go on a club trip. You got a 10 shilling note and a day out in Blackpool or Southport, sounded fantastic to me.:blue thumb:

Well a bob was two tanners, four tanners or two bob made a florin, one florin and a tanner made 2/6, which if it was one coin was a half crown, two half crowns obviously made a crown, but they weren't in general circulation, but equalled 5 bob.
10 bob was half a pound which was 20 bob or 240 pennies.
A guinea was one pound one shilling, and a shilling was a bob.

I'm not going to go into the copper stuff as that was a bit confusing.;)

@pete remember that half a crown was also known as half a dollar and two half dollars made a dollar...that was back in the good old days when I was a youngster.

When a US dollar was worth 25p I believe, and didn't vary.
