Looks like another sunny day that will be hot but not scorching hot.

Samantha is starting physiotherapy after having her drainage tubes adjusted. They want to get her walking and trying to take a step up a stair. I don't think she realized how far down she had gone until now. The fight back to normal will be a constant reminder of what these people did.

I started the masks for the bachelorette party that a client/friend asked me to make. It is for a mature bride and groom. The guests will have plain white masks and my friend doesn't know this, but I've embroidered Groom on black fabric and Bride on some white fabric to make the guests of honour masks and then for after the wedding, Mr. and Mrs. masks. I know this will delight her

Got a lot more fence slats to slide in before it gets too warm as well and various other bits of puttering to do.

Oh dear poor you @shiney, it sounds very uncomfortable. Despite doing all you can to relieve the symptoms it just has to run it's course , blister up, burst/ dry up and eventually heal. Could you just wear Pjs when you know that you don't have any visitors....even if you did Mrs S could answer the door while you changed......anything is worth it for comfort.

Another cracking day ahead of us...

Thank you for all of your kind thoughts for my granddaughter. They took down to the surgery to stick more tubes in her. And they are also starting some physio.

@shiney you're making me itchy just talking about your dilemma. Now you've slimmed down a bit, those outfits Omar made you are probably too big?

I get an itchy rash on my arms after staking up tomato plants, or picking cucumbers, etc. Actually, come to think of it, most leaves make my arms lump up. Luckily it doesn't affect my hands so I can still weed and play with seedlings and the lumps disappear within a few hours of washing them!

We've got a lovely soft rain today. Perfect for the lawn and gardens.

I'll be trying to finish those masks today. It is taking me a long time for two reasons. I did something a little for the wedding couple and I hate making masks. I made a "Bride" and a "Groom" mask by embroidering on the cheek. And masks for after the sentencing -"Mr." and "Mrs."

Best get on with that now and stop procrastinating!
