        Good day
Thank you for thinking of Samantha @moyra . She is improving and Tuesday's CT scan found another pocket of a battle with infection within her chest cavity and yes, another tube has been inserted to help drain away the bad stuff. She is able to get to her chair without her walker. It's only a few steps but definitely a large accomplishment.

We did get some rain yesterday which was a great freebie. And I've only got about another hour's worth of work left to get the last of the fence slats inserted. With it being cloudy so far, it is the perfect time to stand out there and get it done!

I think I'll pop down to the kitchen and have some breakfast now as my stomach is beginning to rumble.

Have a lovely day all. :)

@Flumpy most of my many bites are now less of a nuisance but the blister between my toes keeps weeping, then stopping and then filling up again. It's not itchy any more and the swollen toes are now OK. The surgery have said to keep it clean and contact them if there's any sign of infection. It's just a b... nuisance because it starts up again if I wear a shoe and do much walking. :dunno:

I had to do some walking about as the photographer was here this morning. A really nice person and he must have taken at least 300 photos that will likely end up with no more than three in the magazine. :)

i have to go to a meeting this evening at 8 p.m. and after that I shall continue on to Aldi for late night shopping.

                  Aloha everyone,

Thanks @moyra it's just a big nuisance. It doesn't hurt and doesn't itch but makes it difficult to wear shoes and I have to be careful it doesn't get infected.:noidea: So if I go out I have to walk very carefully and it took me a good five minutes to walk to the beans

                  Keep well

                  Aloha!

                    Good day
There are just a few wispy clouds in the sky and I am airing the house with the 65f air from outside. I get a little tired of sitting in air conditioning and welcome a breeze of fresh air.

This was one of the letters to the editor in the Toronto Sun - a lovely letter I thought you'd all enjoy
                    "
                    SIR TOM AND THE QUEEN

The recent photos of Queen Elizabeth, aged 94, and Capt. — now Sir — Tom Moore aged 100, who raised $50 million for the hospital service present a great example of what service to country and leadership means or should mean. What a pity these qualities are so rarely obvious with many of the world’s current leaders.

Editor's Comment: (There is a reason why they are referred to as the greatest generation) "

A nice thing to read and start the day with a smile :dbgrtmb:

I hope you all have a lovely day :)

I don't mean it really as we desperately need this rain!

Hope you're all ready for the weekend and find time to relax in your gardens and admire all the hard work that has been done.

Fingers crossed my parents house has been sold and is now under STC. Now the hard work begins on emptying it !! :yikes::sad:

Well as its a damp day out there I've just download a couple of gardening books from my library to help while away a few hours this morning.

                      Have a great day! :spinning:

Still no rain here and the ground is rock hard :phew:. I've got the sprinkler working on the veggies - and they're doing very well. :)

Still hobbling but improving. :blue thumb:
