We're at 29C now,the breeze is keeping the temps down, our high now is suppose to reach 32C but not sure if we'll hit that now.
Very pleasant out in the garden today.

 

We're on the coast too @alana but it also has it's drawbacks, especially at the present time...the crowds!!

 

The summer crowds would put me off from living near the coast.
Probably some where like Dungeness where nobody wants to go would be the only kind of exception

 

We went to my parent's place again this morning and crossing the M3 we could see the traffic building up. Slightly further down I bet the junction to the M27 was bad too with everyone heading to Bournemouth, Swanage etc. Rather them that us!!
Wouldn't swop my garden with anyone today.

 

OK we've reached 31C ,still quite bearable because of the intermittent breeze.

 

Sunny and almost cloudless, with barely a breeze to make the leaves twitch on trees. 24C/75F

Brightened up in the afternoon and still sunny with a gentle breeze from the north east temp 29c.

 

Reached 29c with clearing sky, a light breeze may have kept the temperature down a degree or so.

Yes they were ALL piling down through here to Swanage and Lulworth Cove, idiots were still coming down even though they closed the road to Durdle Dor.

 

Too hot to sleep even with all the windows wide open .Even the horses in the field seem restless. It's now 21C. I decided that I might as well get up.

I'm going to stretch some debris netting over the top of courgette plants to prevent their leaves from getting shredded.
