I think a cat has sat in the crown and flattened the stems so the stems are growing through the other plants but it looks quite nice.

@strongylodon i seem to be getting drawn to white flowers at the moment, i really like your agapanthus.

 

I seem to grow plants as the mood strikes. My hanging pots have the same chaos as my little gardens!

I really like that, will be adding it to my large new border! I think it'll look good with Salvia uliginosa which will grow to a similar height (2m). You should thank the cat for its contribution to garden design, it looks rather nice 'flowing' through the other plants!

I love the pincushion flower shape of Scabiosa, Knautia and Cephalaria and they all seem to be excellent plants for pollinators!

Another border Nick Cephalaria are very unlikely to flower at the same time as Salvia uliginosa, Cephalaria Gigantia have been and gone round here already they are more of a Late spring plant.

Thanks Perki, oh dear, not such a good idea then! Never mind, I'll plant the Cephalaria somewhere else then since most of the other plants are later flowerers.

@shiney I need instructions from you please in regards to sowing Cleome....2yrs in a row I've sowed them and seen nothing, use to always include them in our summer borders. Can't figure out what ( if anything) I've done differently in these past couple of years. Help!!
