Well we could be finalists in the Strictly come Dancing, raindance section  We have had the wettest July I can remember in the northwest - blooming lawn won't stop growing!

Raindances are not needed here as in the last 35 minutes we had 21.5mm of rain bouncing down and that's not counting the 7mm of rain we had around 6 pm.

I don't understand as well. Our granddaughter and boyfriend live in Huddersfield, about 40 miles due East, and they have had little rain. Is god targeting the Northwest, for some unknown sin we have committed?

At the moment. GOD is not ruling the world. According to scripture. Satan is the ruler of this world.

This summer is less dry than the previous couple, still plenty of watering to do though. The large rainwater tank I put in last autumn is earning its keep and with regular top up from showers is still over half full. Still use the mains hose for some jobs though.
It has been hotter than previous years and the hot dry April-May was a mixed blessing, chillis are well up on previous years, but other shrubs and perennials didn't really get going this year.

Gods good earth is wonderful and gardeners appreciate it.
But our world leaders need to wake up to the general decay of the environment.. Anyway it's raining nicely here so i guess it rains on the righteous (or self righteous)

Same as as most of you no rain for weeks..that is until late afternoon yesterday and last night. Thunder storms lightning and constant heavy rain for hours. Dark at 7pm. This morning still cloudy, so different from the last few day being high temperatures and high humidity. Difficult sleeping.
Pond full, butts full, garden won't need watering today.

john558 I heard the police called you madam.
