Oh now its getting even more stupid.
After telling people to avoid public transport they are now saying more people need to start using the trains:roflol:
If not lots of people will be made redundant who work for the railways.

So what did they actually expect.

I think a lot of people who are now working from home are enjoying not having to go on trains or drive to work. Especially going to London as most of the folk in my road commute there normally, it's an awful commute packed like sardines with trains always late. I don't think rail workers will get much sympathy having treated the general public with contempt in the past.

My son has been told they are working from home until January at least, I understand quite a few companies are saying the same. I still believe many businesses will shut down or downsize their offices now they realise that they can trust their workers.

My son works from home and that he doesn't have to go back, he's changed his job.

Soon Birmingham will have to go on the watch list and it's not far from us here in redditch.

Just waiting for the 'second wave'...which is to be expected as can speak of several folk that booked last minute deals but have no intention of isolating when they get back..apparently they 'can't afford another two weeks off work'..yet they can afford a holiday  I've never heard so much tripe in all my life.Grrrr..

Absolutely Pete,it's an ever changing Virus and I think it needs us to weaken it's self by grabbing as many folk as possible but needs us to survive (if you get me) otherwise it's had it's day..
This is purely my humble opinion and I'm no scientist ..Incase you hadn't noticed..:loll:

I'm still not sure why they keep saying they know very little about the virus, its been around for 9 months or so at least.
Still think they know more than they are saying, and until they come out with the truth I'm putting it in the same pigeonhole as climate change, hole in the ozone layer and the fuel crisis of the 70s.

I also think they may well know more than what is being said but we're not privy to that info but if you think about it if the WHO the Government et al did cough and tell the world everyone would still doubt the outcome..sadly we live in a very cynical world these days..many folk won't accept nothing unless it lands on their own doorstep.

I definitely don't accept everything that lands on my doorstep, most of it is rubbish:biggrin:

But I also dont accept propaganda.

Covid is out there, of that I have no doubt, but I really struggle with what they are doing to combat it.
If it is actually that severe, as we keep being told, why are they now easing restrictions?

Its a balance that they are trying to achieve, ie. just keep the dead rate to what we can handle, but no more.
It costs too much money if we all die at once.

At least there's going to be loads of empty offices (and shops) to convert into housing for them.
