              The thing is @JWK - that is the percentage of the population that have been infected with Coronavirus, with deaths being a considerably smaller figure than that. If you had a 0.46% chance of winning a bet, would you place your £1000? Yet here we are quite literally destroying the way we live on those same odds - none of it makes sense.

                0.46% Doesn't sound like much, but if I was to stand against an 8 x 2.5m wall, and a spherical object (with the same area on plan as myself) was fired at that wall, the chances of it hitting me would also be 0.46%, but I certainly wouldn't volunteer to try it.
