It really gets to me. For ages you have been using some computer program or whatever, and or some modern system. Then suddenly the screen is different. The more you try to fathom it out, the deeper you get in the proverbial mire. Whate ever happened to the saying. If it aint broken then don't try fixing it.

I have just tried finding out how many Nectar points I have. I could of course wait until I'm allowed out, and go into Sainsbury's. I am far from happy with the latter. They refused to add me to their list ov vulnerable people, despite me providing my Gov. Ref numbers. On line. Nectar want to know the ins and outs of so much. I am already registered and have been since the system began.
Then these businesses who require a password. Then insist it has to contain so many words. So many upper and lower class letters, and x number of numbers. GRRRRRRRRR!!

I recently had a Microsoft update that totally removed Microsoft Office from my computer :mute:  and then wanted to sell me a monthly subscription to their all singing and dancing version :wallbanging:. fortunately I have a guardian angel that sorted things out for me. :blue thumb: :love30:

I've got some nectar points, dont bother with them anymore, still get emails but dont go anywhere that gives them out. Only used to get them at the BP garage, then they dropped nectar and come up with their own card, so got that now but rarely use BP anymore.

Last year I had 15 £5 morrisons vouchers, that I had saved all year, to spend at Christmas.
Despite still going there as usual I only have 3 up till now this year.

As I've moved house we're nearer a Tesco now so all my 40k nectar points will be converted to eBay vouchers, about £200. Not a lot for many years saving of points.

Consider a Costco Executive membership - we've accrued £74 in a year with them

I've had a new touch screen Kindle (generation 10) since June and I'm still trying to get my head round downloading and locating books on it. :doh:My old one (generation 3) was much easier.

We have just bought a new tumble dryer, to replace the old Creda dryer which must be 35 years old. It is gleaming white and full of dials, buttons and flashing lights. Plus absolutely essential you download an app and you can WiFi connect to the bloomin' thing  So you can monitor the drying cycle while having a cup of coffee. This will make the winter days fly by

I love a gadget, but will never understand driers and washing machines that have internet access.

....And if you're like me you'll only use one, may be two programmes on it. My last two tumble dryers have been sensor dryers, do the sensors actually work? :heehee: My next one will function by time - if they're still available.
