It certainly will mutate and the question is how fast does it mutate and what that mutation leads to.
There is some evidence that this virus mutates relatively slowly and most of the infections the world are of one strain that is slightly different to the original virus found in Wuhan.
Looking at it form the virus's point of view it needs to become more infectious and less dangerous if it is going to continue to spread. It "needs" us to become walking virus factories in order to spread far and wide; if it kills us or incapacitates us too quickly it ceases to spread. Inside us it is protected from the hazardous environment outside where it may dry out, get too hot, or be exposed to too much light.

Well, the Global benchmark for successful reaction, (production of anti-bodies) is set at 50% effectiveness of the vaccine :dunno:...........which doesn't seem very high if there is only a 50-50 chance of it working properly.

Both Corbyn and Ferrier should be removed as Members of Parliament. They have knowingly broken the law put in place for all our safety. The odd slip up is understandable, but these were protracted breaches over several hours, in one case the perpetrator had even tested positive for Covid. They have both admitted they were wrong and knew what they were doing, so there can be no doubt they are in the wrong. They can't even claim confusion - they were blatant breaches.

I know it is typical to lash out when in a bad place, but my mother is currently in hospital following a stroke, and neither I or any of my family are allowed to visit. The entire reason for this is because of the increased restrictions put in place - due to people breaching the rules. So when I see law-makers engaging in this sort of behaviour it makes my blood boil. I just want people to follow the restrictions, so that we can be out of this nightmare situation sooner rather than prolonging the agony.

She's been suspended from the SNP by the First Minister who has said that it was "indefensible, and she can't express how furious she is over the matter".

OMG, somebody buying 6 packs of bog rolls makes it into the news!

Watch Asda panic-buyer shoving toilet rolls into her trolley

Six identical packs containing a total of 100 rolls would contain an average of 16.67 rolls per pack, so some or all were obviously reduced to clear damaged packs and a savvy shopper snaffled them. Or the 'reporter' cant manage simple arithmetic.

P.S. Farmfoods are selling 4 packs of 18 rolls for £10, but will there be a posse of reporters outside their stores waiting to film shoppers who've taken advantage of their offer?
