Starmer's trying to make his name, but him being a ex-follower of Corbyn is not the best recommendation to take any notice of his negative comments to try to cause more panic.:wallbanging:

Agreed, Jenny, but since he wasn't the one to omit submitting the figures to the National Data nor see what is happening every day within the whole data reporting organisation perhaps we pointing our guns in the wrong direction:scratch::doh::dunno::cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

So does a Murderer Jenny but I'd say a fairly good chunk of folk don't leave themselves wide open to 'get got' by 'em.

Mistake number one - Excel is NOT a database!! I have similar discussions at work (and generally get ignored), but the simple truth of the matter is that Excel is a spreadsheet NOT a database and therefore is prone to falling over when used incorrectly.

He is and I think he comes across more professionally the the rest of them I think recently he's been led astray and started listening to some set of spin doctors or new advisors as his rhetoric is getting bland and predictable. Back to standard Labour :(

I've never heard Boris come out with anything other than incoherent gibberish, he is only in the job because of brexit, "lets get Brexit done" and then maybe they can come up with a proper leader.

                  Proper leader  :heehee: :heehee:

That is the trouble @pete - take a look at the folks that are MP's and ask yourself how many would you trust to look after your dog? I can't think of one, in any party, that has the gumption to run a country.

"On Monday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson urged people to return to cinemas. He said would "encourage people to go out to the cinema, enjoy themselves and support" movie theatres." Odeon to open weekends-only at some cinemas

Don't know about current uses, but before my retirement, I was one of 2 employees in a major organisation that had received advanced (one to one) Excel training, and we used Excel to input data into some very expensive specialist software packages for modelling different scenarios.

From what I understand (and I know very little about these things) they were/are using an old version of Excel that doesn't have enough space for all the info - and nobody noticed that they had filled the Excel memory with still a lot of info to be downloaded. That seems to me to be incompetence at the input stage :wallbanging:

It seems as though it would be best to move to Madeira. A place I know well and like :dbgrtmb:. Been going there for work and holidays for the last 57 years

There was no airport then and so it was only approached by boat. :rolleyespink: When they opened the airport (think it was in 1964) it only had a short runway and the planes couldn't take off if they had full tanks. So they filled up a little and flew to Porto Santo (island nearby) and filled up and flew from there.
