Whilst the small tv companies didn't want the legal risk, this case would of been worthy of 'That's Life' back in the day with Esther Rantzum.
The bottomless pit of the BBC's public money are behind them.
When they did a serious article no stone was left unturned.
With a case concerning child welfare it would have been right in Esther's line of interest.

In fairness to Mike, although we've all met the odd copper that comes across as distasteful..(often the traffic one's)
When the chips are down and we are running away from maniacs, the police are running towards them, and the large majority do a damn good job.

Sorry to disagree, but if it not lawful it is not binding.

Just watched an old programme about nasty neighbours, in the programme the woman was given an order saying she couldn't speak to the neighbour, either personally or through another person, only by solicitor.
She was even told she must not look in their windows.
That also seemed a very strange one sided affair, with the police and courts taking the other side all the time.

It seemed the police disliked her attitude after she called them regarding the neighbour having removed a pair of large wooden gates and cutting off the posts at ground level.

She told the police she had a good mind to put a brick through their car window.

That appeared to be the deciding factor, and after that the police ignored anything else she said.

not necessarily I would get further legal opinion on the legality of the order and then abide by that opinion.

                      You've had it weedaway,
It must be the time to put on the appropriate music and enjoy a 'Hamlet' the mild cigar from Benson and Hedges.

Far from it weedaway, but you have demonstrated that all avenues have been taken and it appears that it's at a dead end.
If your barrister can do nothing then what else?
I don't wish you any harm believe me, and if i had a magic wand, your neighbour would dissappear.

This case/matter has interested me form the beginning. I admit. Many years have passed since my, being a solicitors clerk, then a police officer etc. However I am perhaps an oddity, as I simply love studying and research. Enough said.

Our ftiend Weedaway has provided us with a topic that is pertnant to her. In fact. As we progress though the various stages, as posted by the good lady. It has become obvious that we have a list of problems, eg: the neighbours. The neighbours fit the picture of loony's. The head of the family has identified himself on cctv as being, some kind of out of control neandathal. The address of Mrs Nasty etc has been intoduced. Now, it transpires that the nasty family are in some way involved with the local authority in the field of child minders. Hving knowlege of this, some suggestions have been put forth, that behind the scenes, unconfirmed goingson have taken place. To interject here. Whoever, whatetever you or your connecting with this or any subsequent case might be. It is your civic duty to to report this.

The daughter of the nasty family become a qualifies solicitor. Good on her, but so what? OK she can obviously talk with the fanly and friends, but I believe that basically the same rule applies. For instance a doctor of medicine is not allowed to treat a member of his/her family, I think the same rule applies here.

Forgive me please. The saga goes on. The local police are called, perhaps on many occassions. CCTV evidence is produced. Taking a short cut. The police are obliged to consider the evidence. In this instance. The evidence indicates serious breaches of the peace. This matter has to go further. So at court. Please bare with me. As a fly on the wall. The plaintiffes solicitor has taken up the case. Of course. Money in the bank. He/she may well have acted properly. In time a barrister is consulted. Now if I may. In my early days in the legal system. I got to know many famous barristers, and don't forget. Many QC's also sit as judges. These men IMO were top of the class. To me. I'd get shot of the solicitor alomg with the barrister. A good barister realy knows his/her way around.

Under English Law. Every resident has the right to protection and representation at law. In this case. Weedaway has, as it appears been thrown to the wolves.

At this juncture, I ask. What is your location? Might the local powers to be, be Masons. Just a thought. Nevertherless this case reaks of corruption.

Weedaway. I wish yo all the very best.

Well, I think we all have our favourite Plant Nurseries and Plant Suppliers and we also have those which we should have learnt by previous experience not to use again, but even after several negative experiences with them, back on early July I pre-ordered some plants from Parkers knowing that I wouldn't get them until September. September has come and gone with no plants and no word from Parkers. So, I e-mailed them and, of course, it takes 5 days or more for them to reply but, to be fair, that's around the same time it takes for other Plant Nurseries or Sellers to reply.
The reply I got back was that, at the moment, the plants weren't in stock and they were waiting for them. I e-mailed back asking for more details of when they could deliver the plants and they replied back that at least another 28 days, but there was no guarantee of that. Now I'm quite willing to wait a couple of months for plant delivery when needed, but to wait 4 months and still no guarantee that they would appear is something I wasn't prepared to do, so I've cancelled the order and, hopefully, learnt my lesson.
