Will You Be Breaking The Law Next Year?

Never use one when driving, but will use one when parked (with engine stopped) as i used to make phone calls to the transpot office

well making it law won't stop them breaking it, see lots around here using when driving and they get away with it because of no police to stop them even when you report them with picture's you see them still using phone's

 

Only used mine in traffic jam on motorway going nowhere.

To say I was going to be late.

But been hands free for a few years now.

 

Then use a 12" tablet, also much safer than trying to view a tiny phone screen

Most of us were driving around in the late 90's whilst holding and talking into a mobile phone.
Now there is no excuse to do it.
The bluetooth hands free is brilliant..(it should be a legal requirement in new cars)

 

My gaster is flabbered yet again. Do people really need to be told that it is not a good idea to take a selfie when you are hurtling down the motorway with your family in the car?

On the other hand, I suppose we do need to try and protect potential Darwin Award candidates.

 

Of course, and not many people are aware of this, a screen mounted in the same way as the photo shows is already illegal. It has been for years.

 

In some ways I agree about hands free, I do find it distracting, but mostly on the odd occasion when someone phones me, in the car, trying to find the tiny button on the steering wheel to answer it.
God why are all car buttons so small, and you need a microscope to read the stupid symbol telling you what they do

 

Is it still legal to use a good old fashioned paper map/road atlas balanced on your knees, resting against the steering wheel?

 

And eating a bowl of cereals and having sex which i won't go into detail as to want was going on, good view when in a lorry

 

Yeah but you can still roll a cigarette.
As long as there aren't any kids in the car

 

Why when your in the midst of driving do you want to be taking photos and texting..The world has gone bloody mad.

 

I wonder if you will be allowed to use a phone when we all get driverless cars.
