Had a good session in the garden now off to my brother's to add more medical dates to his calendar. And to physically stand over him to ensure he fills out some important forms too...putting on my bossy big sister hat!!!;)

It has taken a while and several layers of air dry clay, sealant and paint but it's finally here

The tiny seedlings are ever so cute and look much more interesting in the gravel- and it's so much easier to water them than when they were in tiny potlets.

I hope the plants settle in now before it gets dark, and get going in the spring. The best part is that instead of 50 odd pots of cacti crammed here and there I now only have 30 or so to cram here and there

Yesterday at 2pm i was taking Berry for his walk around the back of our house and i saw a young hedgehog wandering around. Quickly took Berry back home and got a washing up bowl and a pair of leather gloves and picked the hog up ,put him in the bowl and took home back home into the garage. Got a high sided box and put him in it because he tried to climb out of the bowl, which is a good sign. Waited for hubby to come back with Barley, then he phoned a couple who live a few streets away that take in hogs and bring them to good health. When they came round in their car the man said that this time of year the youngsters get kicked out of the next to fend for themselves but they're too small at this time of year to survive the winter. They'll look after him over winter then let him go at the same place.

It's a gravel drive mate, so quite easy to extend and widen.
But like most drives, it's the foundation that matters most :)

That was right off the coast from where we were in Bonchurch and that pic could have been taken from there or Ventnor.
