Good afternoon @lolimac my good friend it could be that they mistakenly think that if they have tested positive then they won't get it again and are immune :dunno::smile:

Well I hope not, because if anyone's going to do any hurting or offending around here it should be me! I'm a magnificent offender! (I think it's a talent, TBH)

I've not understood that one myself either.
I was talking to someone the other day and we were saying, bearing in mind the long queues, long distances etc. etc. that we hear about in order to get a test , if I had symptoms I dont think I would bother.
I think you have a pretty good idea if you have got it or not.

But then I dont have to go to work anymore:hapfeet: so life is so different for us asspiring OAPs.

With all these £ Squillions bail outs for Tier 3 areas ooop North,
I'm getting worried about much/little might be left in the £ Squillions by the time it gets down here in the South....

Whose the rich lender whose lending us this dosh?

          Beam me up Scottie....

Most probably not nurses, but definately down to NHS incompetance .

A friend/neighbour had her tests (taken before Covid-19 lockdown) 'lost' for some 6 months before they 'found' them and informed her she might have cancer, and by the time they got around to sorting out their mistake she was told it had now progressed so far she's only got 3 - 4 months to live.

She will never get to know the result of her complaint of medical incompetance.

That's the fault of NHS staff, not members of the Government.

I think it was a government minister who said this morning that there has probably been a 1:1 ratio of people who died with covid compared to people who the NHS has neglected, and died.

Would you accept that kind of collateral damage in a war?

Does anyone else think, instead of those areas that are at tier 3 coming out of partial lockdown, the rest of us will be joining them at some point over the winter.

Is that a comparison between numbers of people who've already died due to NHS innaction prior to Covid-19, or a comparison between numbers of people now dying due to NHS innaction following Covid-19 ?

(See above post Corona Virus Treatment ).

Well I'm guessing its based on the period when covid kicked in and they stopped all cancer patient, to name just a few from visiting hospitals.
While at the same time winding out the old saying that the NHS is still open for business.

Of course now the claim is that patients are far to scared to go to hospital but they should.
                Its all propaganda.
They dont want you bothering them, because they are too busy.

Even prominent doctors have said they are getting much less referrals, so who's lying.

Our friend/neighbour had to fight to get her 'lost' cancer diagnosis sorted/investigated/treated, but iit was too late, and their (NHS) mistake was made pre Covid-19

Threats of violence against anyone or any animal is not acceptable in my book. Jokes are jokes and I almost certainly get nearer the knuckle with mine than many folks would (especially when I am not posting here) but when it descends to threats or abuse of any kind, a line has to be drawn. Indeed, I am waiting to hear from the police myself to follow up on a report I had to make earlier this week after receiving abusive email at work.

Central London, this afternoon - more protests. Now, tell me again why I can't go and visit my family members?

I believe it was something to do with the actions of another country and the killing of someone - endSARS or some such thing. Not sure, but the comments I read at the time were along the lines that there wasn't much point protesting in London as it was now't to do with the UK
