My hubs was /is the same ..but I'm gradually getting him to reduce his 'workload' a bit. Life is way too short and we well deserve our 'time' now without too many other commitments/ distractions.

Just do what is comfortably copeable...and no more. You always sound as if you have too much on your plate!! As I tell hubs nobody is indispensable ....there is always someone ready to continue with things ....you men are just not very willing to let go of the reins are you!!

I also understand that some people need to have the buzz of being busy....you sound like one of them, just make sure that it's a not to the detriment of your health though.

Try and fit in a coffee/ tea break at least...I bet Mrs S would agree too!!

Snap!! I always start my day with mugs of hot water too!! My Mum was recommended to do so by her Dr many ,many years ago and it's just something that our family grew up doing.

hope you all have a nice day. Managed to sleep a bit last night and was up at 6:30, ready for shopping delivery at 7:30, washing clothes,cleaning bathroom, hoovering, dishwasher etc. Just been out in the greenhouses dividing and potting up plants and was bringing in my terracotta bowls of plants into the greenhouse. Its absolutely chucking it down...non stop!

Morning @Snorky85 , how are you all and how is the poor pooch, hope she's improving.

It's pretty damp and dismal down here to, just having a sort out before we head out this afternoon.
My tablet is complaining that it's feeling constipated so I'm clearing out all the cache.
Gosh!!..why do I take so many photos.......and all of the same shot!!!.......delete, delete!!!!!!
My poor tablet should feel much better now!!

 

Hi Upsy, she is much better today. She has actually been eating bonios and other dog biscuits and had a bit of scrambled egg yesterday-so much better than eating nothing. She is also much brighter xx

 

Snap @Snorky85 I also have a morning of cleaning. Bathrooms on second floor, hoovering up here too etc. But instead of tending to greenhouse dwellers, I've started the wood oven and have the first load of soil baking. Will be changing that out in between chores.

It is a cloudy day but not unpleasant as there is little breeze and it is 46f. So I'll enjoy running in and out to tend the soil.

Iv never tryed meatloaf so I duno if it’s nice or not but I’ll eat anything so I probably would like it. How are you and everyone else anyway ? iv not been on in few days couldn’t find my iPad and didn’t no my password to get on my fone . Have I missed anything good ?

Hi Guy....hope all is good with you.....lost anymore trees lately ?
Nope as far as I'm concerned you haven't miss much as the weather has been so diabolical that I haven't done anything of any real interest for a couple of days now. Just the normal mundane chores around the house ,cleaning and being brave enough to sort out some cupboards.

 

How are you all this morning?

Busy, busy day again...contracts signed yesterday and completion on my parent's place is next Friday. Going over there to collect keepsakes and specific items that our parents left to each one of us during today and the weekend.
Then it's all go for Monday ,Tuesday and Wednesday to empty it out....not looking forward to next week at all.
