Thank you, everyone, for your kind comments of the garden but, as I said, the thread was really posted to remind us all just how lucky we all are have a garden, large or small, and, for me, how lucky I am to be a member of the GC Gang.:love30:

True - I feel very lucky to have a garden. Especially in lockdown. Don’t know what I would have done if I still lived in a flat with no garden. The GC gang are a very friendly bunch! I have felt very welcome since I joined a few days ago, so thank you all.:)

Great pics. What camera. I reckon you have borrowed a F-35 and toured the planet taking snaps.

YES. Gardeners Corner. Truly is a great happy family forum. Here there is no competing. No cliques. No intentions of superiority. No back-biting and no back stabbing. So as with our gardens, large or small. Here we have created a paradise all of our own.

but I have a collection of around 22 second hand Pentax lenses, of different focal lengths, of ages up to 55 or more years old:old::heehee:,but which work fantastically and, as they say, are really excellent "glass", but I've had in interest in photography since the '60's.:dunno:

Well, it would be a great honour and pleasure to raise a glass with you, Mike, and, you never know that might just happen.

Armandii. I used to do all my own developing and printing, in the days of roll film black & white. I still have my two Exacta Varex SLR's. They need overhauling and repair. I also go back to the 50's & 60's. These cameras were used a lot for scientific & medical photography. I would often remove the lamp unit from the enlarger and fix the camera to the stand for copy work. I once made an adapter to fit a microscope. I used the top section of a bayonet bulb holder. It served me well. I've passed most of my photography stuff onto granddaughter Chloee. She's at uni doing a photographic and fine arts Hons, degree.
My DSLR is an Olympus. As I don't get out and about so much now, and no caravanning, I take few photos now. I must have a go at posting some pics on here. Stay Safe.
