Aw bless you @Snorky85 . Have to say it's the hardest and saddest task I've had to do.
I'm so tired and should go to bed really as I have to be back at the house by 8:30 this morning..but if I do then I feel like the morning will come quicker...and I don't want it too.

Been up since 5-just cannot sleep, but not from watching the US election results. I already believe that the horror will be voted back in again because that's the kind of crap that happens in 2020.

Pretty thick frost this morning. Just going to nip out and feed the birdies in the front garden. Dave won't have done them the last couple of days whilst I've been away and I bet they've already eaten the fat balls I put out prior to leaving.

I will have a busy day manically digging up some of the not so hardy plants that I havent had time to do...

@Upsydaisy I believe the house will never be empty as the walls are stuffed with laughter and love and I am sure the new owners will keep the aura strong.

I didn't bother watching the election. Americans had a choice to elect an old man with stupid socialistic ideas or another old man with stupid arrogant attitudes. I'm right next door to them and I'm not worried. We have weathered lots of their tantrums.

It is slightly warmer than yesterday but with the bonus of a brilliant, clear sky. It's going to be lovely

My jobs have all been installed or fabrication finished so I can not get caught up again with chores in the mornings and afternoons will be play time!

Sam is feeling a bit down with this ongoing illness so I am going to try to take her to places that are safe (very few visitors) and have new things for her to see. And do that at least once a week.

After delivering the last of the drapes yesterday, I took Sam to a place, far out of town, that has a nursery, sells lots and lots of knick knacks, clothing and home baked goodies. But the main reason I took her there was because they have a small zoo and the alpacas put a giant smile on her face. Well worth the drive!

Sorry to hear that Sam is feeling a bit low Lori, you are doing a brilliant job of supporting her through her recovery. She is lucky to have a Grandma like you.!!

Well it's finally over now. I got home about an hour ago after another 9 and a half hrs. The final walk around and closing of the door was every bit as distressing as I had envisaged it to be. I feel completely drained and exhausted.

@Upsydaisy I'm glad you are done with the sad part of clearing the house. Sounds like you did a good job of preserving sentimental items and plants too! Does your sister like gardening too?
