Well, the gun totin’, finger lickin’, *****y grabbin’, lyin’ cheatin’ redneck is out. The US were sold a lie, and the majority have woke up. He wasn’t even a successful businessman. AFAIC, he had zero qualifications to run a pizza bar, let alone a country. He’s nothing but a bully that’s prepared to use his lawyers to get his way. This is just one illustration, there are many more...You've Been Trumped - Wikipedia
Earlier, I was watching ‘Would I lie To You’ (a comedy show), and it struck me that Trump would be useless, as his lies would be easy to spot, his lips move. All these lawsuits are really just sour grapes. Any bets on Trump giving a gracious handover? He was a lazy, ill-tempered President that the world is well rid of. As for Twitter, AFAIC, it’s a refuge for the overactive imagination. Apparently, the royal family are all lizards. Yeah, and I’m The Wizard Of OZ.

I have no earthly idea where you get that the royal family are lizards @Freddy, but if you wish to be the Wizard of Oz, I reckon we could have a whip round and get you the costume.

Twitter is full of folks with whacky ideas, David Icke would have been well at home. In future, you can address me as ‘The Great And Powerful’ ;)

Oh, there is no doubt that there are whack jobs all over the internet, including Twitter and as I said earlier you do have to have a filter. Equally though, it is used to a remarkable degree by many normal folks including politicians (Boris, Kier, Patel, Hancock, Corbyn etc etc) and of businesses and business leaders.

We've always addressed you as Great - - I assume by the addition of Powerful that you're getting a new leccy meter

I think you need to adjust your filter then, and throw in a large pinch of salt. Politicians are ultimately answerable (ballot box), whilst conspiracy theorists get away with all sorts of rubbish. It should be made a criminal offence, given the unrest it causes.

Not quite sure what you are driving at there @Freddy - can you explain to me exactly what is wrong with wanting to see an election, any election, done fairly and legally? For the record (again) even if I were an American I wouldn't vote for either of the two that were up for election as they are both idiots that have escaped their respective villages.

Do you honestly think that Biden is going to be any better @Freddy ? A man that's spent all his life in politics and hasn't achieved anything of note. But it doesn't really matter who becomes President, it's the senate that makes decisions and it doesn't necessarily follow that the senate is the same party as the President.

Absolutely nothing wrong with a fair vote, I’m all for it. The point is, I think that’s exactly what we’ve got, in the US. I think you put too much credence in Twitter posts that, when you look into them, hold no water.

So, if there is no credence in them, why are they used and cited by news outlets including the BBC? Sure, not every post is, but the news outlets do use it a hell of a lot.

Relating to the Michigan issue that I mentioned, it is also noted outside of Twitter -

GOP claims a software glitch in Michigan incorrectly gave 6,000 votes to Biden | Daily Mail Online

Michigan software glitch tallies thousands of Republican votes as Democrat, GOP chairwoman says

And why is it that it is the root of all evil when it comes to situations like this, but it is absolutely fine when it is being used in relation to Russian election interference (both domestically and abroad) or in relation to the likes of Brexit?

From a British point of view, I was not sure how to take Trump, but I think he was more likely to sign up to a trade deal, with us, than Biden.
Methinks he is in bed with Ireland in the same way Clinton was and the Kennedys.

I’m no authority on US politicians, I speak as I find/see. AFAIC, Trump was a thoroughly nasty piece of work. On his watch, well over 200,000 have died from a virus that he had little regard for. I could post some quotes, but I’m sure you have got the drift. On his watch, black folks have been unlawfully killed, which he played down. He seemed proud of the fact that he payed less tax than I did last year. Will Biden be better? Maybe, maybe not, but it’s hard to imagine (to me) anything worse.
