Yes Lori she does but due to quite bad arthritis she grows most of her plants in pots these days. She's not quite so keen as me and since downsizing she now has a fairly small garden that she finds manageable.

Must admit to having a couple earlier in the day @Snorky85 !! When finally the team had left and we had completed the cleaning my sister and I sat on a couple of garden chairs in the lounge and had a brandy to prepare ourselves for the final departure.

Hi all hope your all keeping well, been a hectic week this week, we all had to be tested as one of the students who worked four hours for us tested positive over the weekend due to getting a lift off a friend who was also positive  and now we’ve found out my brother in law and family have got it as he played football Saturday and four of the lads tested positive I’m hibernating until next year! (I wish). you all stay safe now :spinning:

                Good day
@Flumpy I'm sorry you have to go through this stress again.

I just got back from taking a friend for their MRI over at the hospital. And later Sam and I go back over to see aone of her specialists. I'm ready to read them the riot act as they don't seem to speak to one another :paladin:

It is supposed to be a pleasant day so in between things I plan to putter outside. Certainly is nice to have this bonus mild weather. And it is supposed to be in the mid 60f range until next Wednesday. :hapydancsmil:

Have a lovely day all and I am now finally having my first cuppa of the day. Cheers:coffee:

                  Aloha everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around but I've been so busy I just haven't had much time.

Mrs Shiney has been making door wreaths for a lot of people and making more money for the charity. Now that we are in lockdown she can still make them but we leave them outside to be picked up and they put the money through the door - or by bank transfer.

These are a couple of them. Everything is from our garden. :blue thumb:

                        Good day
It is mild (46f) already and we're expecting a day in the high 60's. And sunny. It doesn't get better than that for a November day in zone 5! And we'll be treated to this type of weather until Tuesday night. Then, it's back in the refrigerator.

Good timing as I have been busy and have lots more dirt to bake in the outdoor wood oven. Quite a bit more harvesting of hot peppers in the greenhouse to do. And just generally getting things tidied. There are still leaves on many of the trees so raking can wait a bit.

Sam is feeling a lot better. She got her tube taken out of her abdomen and now is enjoying the freedom of not hauling that around and sleeping is bliss for her now. I took her out to a specialty shop yesterday where they had whimsical dragons and skeletons and she had fun looking at all of the art work and we strolled up and down the shops on that street just doing a little window shopping. I'm working on getting at least one outdoor activity organized for her each week. This coming week, I'm taking her to The Devil's Punchbowl.
https://conservationhamilton.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Devils-Punchbowl-e1439823400800.jpg We'll walk a little way along the trail to get her some fresh air and then enjoy the view. And I'm reserving a time for us to walk some Alpacas the following week.

And I've gone an bought a new machine. A coverstitch machine. So that will be in use on rainy days.

I hope everyone has as delightful a day as I believe I'm going to have :spinning:

                              Aloha everyone,

More gardening today and this evening I have to drive up to London to pick up a food order. Can't get the food any closer than that, ethnic Deli, and I shall drop off orders for others on the way back (they don't deliver outside their local area). We stock our freezers and I do the run and deliveries about once every six weeks. I always go on a Sunday night as the journey is always easy at that time. :blue thumb:

On the way I shall be dropping off some door wreaths that have been ordered. Someone put theirs on their door Friday and they have now contacted Mrs Shiney saying both their neighbours want one :). They've sent a picture of it on their door and I shall see if I can get it from Mrs Shiney's computer. She will then have run out of wreath rings and not sure whether she can get any more . I hope she can as it's good money for the charity.

                              Keep well
