Lol, I've debated immigration thousands of times, its a big issue and deserves to be discussed. You say you want to discuss it "properly," but as soon as you introduce it you start talking about "black and ethnic" children and non-white people "taking over", leading to the destruction of British culture.

because he was the most divisive politician for a generation, whose entire time in office was characterized by controversy and bigotry. Its not like you can really dive into a deep debate about his fiscal policies and agree to differ on the the minutiae of his micro-economic theories, because they don't exist or weren't placed by him as the central pitch of his presidency. Race, identity and division were.

"I'm pretty sure if I was a politician someone would call me far right...there are more of us out there than most dare to think."
    Yeah, sounds a great ally.

Was he also in the Young Communist League? And was it him that thought my father was troublemaker and purged him?

Roll on Spring and sowing season, and perhaps the end of some of this nonsense.

So, just stating how I see it, the country has been taken over in many places, not a planned take over, its just the numbers involved, very similar in a way to how some British people have taken over parts of Spain.;)

But there are many different kinds of immigration, I agree some of it is for the better, but numbers are increasing all the time.
Do you agree with a totally open door policy on immigration?

No, he was in another of the groups opposing the Blackshirts and he couldn't be a young anything by the time of the Battle of Cable Street. :old: By the time the war started he was listed as being too old to be called up. :noidea:

I heard an interesting statistic on the radio (radio 2) today. It has apparently been estimated (counted?) that Trump has lied 25,000 times during his period in office. That’s quite a lot.
Disclaimer: I’m only repeating what I heard.

No I do not. And that isn't what we've got, nor have we ever.

Yeah, I mean you could understand it had he been a politician, but as he is not that's downright disgusting.;)

Well, sort of. I suspect it's the total of "false or misleading statements" calculated by The Washington Post's Fact Checker. Only the latter could be strictly classed as "lies".

Living in Bristol, this is something that has caused me reason for consideration. My initial thoughts were that hauling down statues (Colston) were nothing more than trying to erase history, something that can’t be changed. Colston it seems, was very benevolent. I suppose one has also to take into account what seemed reasonable at the time, as barbaric as we now think of it. Ian Wright (ex Arsenal player) had it right, to my mind, when he said (paraphrasing) what’s needed is better education on the subject. I think an important phrase is ‘never judge a person until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes’.

Oh Dear Mr President is out of a job and hes got 900million to pay back to his creditors early next year. That will wipe the colour from his Orangey face.

                        But.....

Having heard and read about some of the voting irregularities that may have been going on in Pensylvania it may not be all over yet.
If his lawyers find the proof needed it will blow the whole election and America apart. BOOM .
