    Debates can and do so often go wrong of forums. Even with the smilies, what is intenede to be a friendly, jovial remark, can be taken the wrong way. Please. No disrespects to Admin, but sometimes perhaps it would be best to lock some ongoing threads.

    This really is a friendly forum Let's keep it that way.

        One of my work colleagues said with an upward turn of his lips that he believed that when Trump ever went to Church it was not to worship God...........but so's to give God the opportunity of worshipping him

            I’m no Christian, but I did have a Christian (C of E) upbringing. I found that image most disturbing/hypocritical/offensive.

              Absolutely - I also think that education extends in more than one way. The fact that we are educated enough to know that those behaviours were barbaric and are now unacceptable can only be a good thing. We need to know and understand what we've done wrong in the past, learn from that, and do better in future. That has to operate right across the board however and the current attempts to erase our history or delete our culture, or indeed to overwhelm/override the rights and feelings of indigenous people is simply not acceptable.

                  Not a Trump fan, I thought the way he dealt with Kim Jon Un was bob on, but used a tatic that has been called incendiary, which I agree with, to deal with other issues. However, I find it very difficult to believe Americas problems are all Trumps fault, a man who has been in high office for four years, and Biden who has been in office for 47 years is the cure. Trump got the backlash for policies introduced by Obama, like banning visitors from certain Muslimn countries, and seperating children from illegal immigrant parents, once arrested, but Trump got the fallout, because there was a hate campaign for him.I think he was labelled bad from day 1, but did nothing to avoid such critisism, he thought he was omnipotent, and it cost him.anyhow, we can now look forward to the return of Hilary Clinton, rumour has it Biden will make her Attorney General woopy do.

                    I think that is the problem with politics the world over - the same old faces and jobs for the boys. As I have said, if Biden and Trump (aye, and even Clinton) are the best that America has to offer then God help us. A couple of old men who should be enjoying their gardens and going for walks, not running a country.

                      You described Trump very well, Freddy:heehee:. I think everyone found the image of Trump, who only believes there is one God......Trump:love30:, standing there holding the Bible as what he thought was a way to appeal to the Religious Sects, to be repulsive but the thing that is really repulsive is that fact that he really does not have the capability to care and, in my opinion, beyond any redemption. So, to me, it's not just that Trump is not "wire right" but that he's not "wired" at all:dunno:.
