The new greenhouse is up and being put to good use straight away. :hapfeet: Dug up all the tenders from the borders potted up and put in there. Stored the dahlia tubers in straw and cut back the salvia Amistad in the borders, covered and mulched. I've decided to leave them in the ground this year. I've taken some cuttings just incase. Next job is to weed and mulch the borders. The temperature has really dropped here now and have had frost most mornings this week. Brrrr hate the cold. Brought in some geraniums and took some cuttings from others too. Mainly colours I like.

Wow @Loofah that's some patching up you have to do there. It looks like it's been a awesome greenhouse at some point though.

Tidied up the front outside border this afternoon which involved cutting a couple of roses right back. Took out loads of old wood and gave them a really harsh cut because they were covered in black spot as usual. Pulled out some grass and weeds and got nettled in the process. Will take the cuttings to the tip tomorrow.

I love it! It's so cute! Are you going to paint it or leave it natural? Are you going to get a heater?

Thank you. I've not been out of it since we put it up ha. The plan is to paint it as soon as we get a dry day. Hmm not though about a heater :what: do you recommend getting one?

Planted out some Bellis and a few forgotten Wallflowers. Split a large Echinacea. Cleared up some more leaves and a load of moss that I think the birds had dislodged from the roof.

I did some more leaf clearing and some more weeding.

today is going to be tough. We want to remove some of our privet hedge that was planted 67 years ago :rolleyespink:. It will be a length of about 6ft and width of 4ft and is 8ft high. Some of the trunks are up to 9" diameter. Chainsawing it down won't be a problem but moving it down to the bonfire heap and then digging out the stumps will be. :phew: Fortunately we have some help with our garden as Lewis does all the heavy work nowadays. I hope he can manage it. :fingers crossed:
