    I am sat here watching Fletch with his Kong - clever wee tyke has worked out that if he drops it off the sofa, bits fall out of it and it makes it easier for him to get the stuff out. :heehee:

        :touches wood: pretty good I think. Number 2's for sure are sorted, as he happily goes outside and quite literally bounces back at me when he comes in to get his 'good boy' treat for doing it. Number 1's were a wee bit harder, but he hasn't gone in the house for two days now, so.... well, fingers crossed. We still have a pad down at the door just in case.

            Ooh eck. I didnt intend my comment to be taken as "my dog breed is better than your dog breed" and I didn't take your reply that way either @Logan :wub2:

            we all have our favourites and I do love Goldies too. I guess my comment was that when anyone says "dog" i think of a Border Collie.

            I agree-I miss Nige too...but Pattie is so cute and I love how she follows Nell all over. Monty must have been gutted. I got his "Nigel" book the other year and I've still not read the last bit of the book as I don't want it to end :heehee:

              My sister has always had retrievers and German shepherds, they are all great, have similar traits that you get with the actual breed.
              But having said that they have all been individuals as well, so no two of the retrievers have been the same, nor the German shepherds.

                  I don't think that the joke turned out as i thought that it would, I'll explain.
                  When we used to go dog training we had a joke between the dog trainer and ourselves.

                  We've had 7 Goldies and they've all been different. But the ones that are related have similar behaviour. Haven't had any other breeds but have met them on walks and they're good breeds, a lot more collies than shepherds and a lot of crosses that they call hybrids.

                  I do like collies and German shepherds, our dog trainer had both, one collie his eyes were 2 different colours. Went to his house a couple of times and they were so well behaved.

                    That's great at least he's getting the message and things will turn out fine. When ours were going outside it seemed that for a while they would go backwards and do it inside again but they got there in the end.

                      This is Logan who passed away a long time ago,when he had a upset stomach and wanted to be sick he would ask to go out, get on the drive and be sick there.

                              He is, but I don't think there is any retriever in him funnily enough as he is too small. We know he has some terrier in him (he has that very recognisable terrier bark for a start) and we think he is crossed with a Kokoni - Kokoni Dog - Ultimate Guide [Personality, Trainability, Health & More]

                                He is just TOO CUTE!! those lil paws!!

                                Just looked up the kokoni link and gosh you can see the resemblance. It also reminds me of Bea too with the "pom pom" curled tail. (I dont know if pom pom is the right word but that's what I call Bea's tail :heehee:)
