Good morning everyone. @Flumpy : Sorry, I am not thinking straight I meant to say that I still have the rash but it is responding to the Dermacool but I have not taken my Tram adol this morning or any of my other various prescripted items as I am worried that one or more may be responsible for it. Just going to take my cod liver oil and calcium and my hemp oil capsule. See how it goes?!
Have a good day, take it easy and stay safe and well. God bless.:wub2:

      Good day
It is cloudy and cold and I am glad that I don't make a living by working outside!

Sam and I will be doing some baking today. Got lots of cookie doughs made so we do have a head start on things.

@moyra I'm glad to hear you're working out how to handle the interaction between the drugs.

@Upsydaisy I feel so badly for you. I wish there was some way of reaching into the heads of people and being able to make a few small adustments that would fix things.

Have a lovely day all :coffee:

        Aloha everyone,

I've been busy the last couple of days writing reports and instruction sheets as well as trying to get things done in the garden.

I've now transferred lots of pot plants, especially alpine bowls, back onto the patio after it has now settled down from relaying and repointing. The rain has made them very heavy. :phew:

Cesspit emptied this morning and, after they had gone, I spent a lot of time hosing down the whole area and also all their muddy bootprints. They did a very quick and efficient job and were very pleasant.

I have also been out foraging for ivy flowers for the Christmas wreaths. Everything else we already have in the garden.

        Keep well

        Aloha!

Good Morning Moyra, have you rang your doctors yet about your rash?

Good morning everyone, No @Flumpy , I have given up on Drs! I am going to withdraw as much as I can from most of my medication. I am taking extra cod liver oil and calcium capsules and also my hemp capsules and see how I go.
Have a good day, take care and stay safe and well. God bless. :wub2:

Hoping everyone is well and keeping safe .

@moyra, although rare you can suffer from an allergic skin rash due to hemp too.
Personally I would stop that first to see if it makes a difference...before stopping your proper medication. Eliminating one thing at a time would be good and best done under your Dr's supervision...imo.
              Take care of yourself.:grphg:

Thank you @Upsydaisy I am trying that too today. We shall see trial and error! I'll ring 111 to see if they can get someone out to look at it as I am still isolating since last March. It maybe the stress of the current situation that is responsible.

Dear @moyra I do worry over you. As we mentioned a few days ago you do not need to shield anymore...but you do need to be very, very careful. It could well be caused by stress, I have put that down to some of my ailments this year too. But if you're keeping yourself away from everything and everyone and probably not seeing anyone while your son is out at work that could be revving up your stress levels no end.
What do you do about Amber and her walks now? , A breathe of fresh air, a little stroll and a couple of cheery ' Good Mornings' to people you encounter are magical mood lifters.:spinning:

                    Good day,
It is snowing. Nothing heavy, just flurries and those intermittently.

Cookie baking continues today and I shall get the tartlets done today too. I'm toying with the idea of making an extra batch of cookies from a recipe I've never used but enjoyed the results. They are called Espresso Shortbread. I had some whilst visiting a tea room a few years back and it was really enjoyable having "coffee" cookies with my tea :) I know it sounds weird but it was nice!

Sam is still asleep. Good thing too as she is very tired these days.

@moyra I'm glad to hear that you are moving forward with sorting out what it is that causes these flare ups. I agree with @Flumpy and @Upsydaisy , a stroll out in the fresh air would be a great stress reliever. :)

                    Cheers all :coffee:

                        Aloha everyone,

Yesterday was a busy one, indoors and outdoors. The weather was good so it made things easier. This morning we have a lovely pink sky and I did my early morning shopping at 6 a.m. I was a bit disappointed as I found that Tesco, instead of opening at 6 a.m., is open 24 hours for the holiday period. I could have gone there at 3 a.m. and avoided all the young staff, who pack the orders for online, that were not wearing masks.

Today, apart from gardening and playing bridge, I shall be doing admin and cooking. I'm going to make a spicy but not hot marinade to coat a whole chicken with. I shall roast it tomorrow after the spices have permeated the chicken. It will be covered for most of the cooking time (to keep it moist) and then finished uncovered to crisp up the thick marinade paste on the outside. Olive oil, fresh ginger, fresh garlic, freshly roasted and ground cummin and coriander seeds, paprika (not the smoked variety), water and salt. :blue thumb:

                        Keep well

                        Aloha!

Good morning all. I am just applying Aloe Vera to the rash and that seems to be calming. I have reduced my Tram adol to half and my other medication likewise.

Have a good day all, take it easy, and above all do take care and stay safe and well. God bless. :wub2: good_morn.png

                              Good day
It is still fairly dark out there but I can see snow on the ground and the thermometer is shouting brrr 23F . Oh well, it is December and I am in Canada so not really any earth shattering conditions.

Back to cookie baking today. Got 5 doughs left to bake and I'm hoping to get three done today, the last two tomorrow and then Friday morning be loading the trays. :)

Since I'll be on the main floor baking, I'll also do some more laundry. The machines are in the cellar so I will only have to do one flight of stairs to run it through.

                              Cheers all :coffee:
