Odd bit of very light drizzle, but windy.
Thing I hate most about this time of the year is it can be basically dry all day but nothing dries up, unless its a freezing cold easterly wind, and I dont want one of those.

 

Grey this morning, then rain moved in mid afternoon which has now stopped. A better day tomorrow supposedly. 9C/48F

 

Day length here is 7hr.51min., pretty much the shortest it gets before starting to rise.

 

No let up with the wind but no rain since midday, a short very grey day.

Yes part of it, but if I'm honest I don't really want to see it looking like that again.

 

It's so beautifully serene looking.

 

Someone once said,(a non gardener), I do like it when it snows, because then all the gardens look the same.

 

We don't always get a lot of snow this time of the year, only about every ten years. It's been 3 years since we had the beast from the east and that was in the month of march.
