    The Toyota Celica was a lovely car, and that looks like a very good example.
    On things going wrong in clusters, last year my friend mentioned he had had a puncture. I said not had a puncture for over 20 years - touch wood. I managed to have two in the next 5 weeks :chicken:

      @Fat Controller Thank you.

      @HarryS Now that is pretty bad luck. Must have been dodgy bit of wood you touched, It kinda like that thing when you think about somebody you haven't seen for months and then you either bump into them at random or they call you. That always freaks me out.
      My Celica is a very good example of the model and its hard to believe it is 21yrs old. I have looked after it. The full leather interior is still immaculate as well and I give the seats a coat of leather food annually using the stuff I used on my motorcycle leathers. I cant remember what other cars had at her age but mine has sufficient 'bits and bobs' for my needs like Climate control with air con and I do like the 6 speed gear set up. It has variable valve timing and has 2 distinct power bands that turns it into a pepperoni (a bit of an animal)
      Fingers crossed for MOT.

        I know of a very fair and honest MOT man if you need one - a wee bit away from you going by your location, but equally not too far. Give me a shout if you need more info.

          Thank you @Fat Controller.
          I dont travel more than a mile or 2 from home anymore but I appreciate the offer.
          When I take my car out for a run which isn't often enough, I just go round in circles staying local.
          Im really gonna have to work on my anxiety of being 'out there' in 2021. Of course the damn virus isnt going to help. I was scared enough and now this new strain and the rest of the world cutting us of is to me is just terrifying.

            No need to be worried, its just a temporary thing to stop the holiday makers trying to get away etc, instead they have all fled up to us here in the north !!!
            No different from when we 'banned' other countries during the first wave.

            All services like food, medicines are being shipped and transported as normal, no food shortages apart from the folk unecessarily panic buying before Xmas day.

            Just relax and enjoy things over the next fortnight, avoid watching all the doom and gloom the bbc news puts out.
            Plenty of better things to follow here on GC ! :biggrin:

            ps -an absorbing and equally relaxing pastime both @Fat Controller and us share is tropical fish and in our case, tropical fish in a Planted tank.
            A couple of links that might interest you - though generally things go a lot smoother than FCs long thread :smile:
