      Well, you haven't gone OTT, I haven't gone OTT, and I'm pretty sure the rest of the GC Gang haven't gone OTT...........so it must be the ones who don't believe there's Covid 19 or those will disregard the restrictions whatever that would go OTT.
      If you were Prime Minister, pete, :love30:, and you made the decision to have an immediate total nationwide lockdown or to have just a one day Christmas period you be in the same position as the Government and face the same criticism of "why didn't you do this or that".

                  Merkel is allegedly the driver behind the deal suddenly coming to fruition and Barnier has been pushed aside (the word sacked was used, but I doubt it is that harsh), and Macron got handed his backside for his antics closing the port and the warship straying into UK waters.

                  Doesn't surprise me, the last thing Merkel needs in an election year with a pandemic in full swing is 1m car industry workers out of work.

                    The Irish Sea has been calm over the last few weeks @JWK, so supplies are as normal. :biggrin: In fact they're better off than we all are at the moment. Life is carrying on as normal there, no masking and no social distancing, although anyone leaving or returning to the island has to isolate for two weeks. I think we all may be a little jealous.

                    The chap that crossed from Scotland to Ramsey in the north of the island on a jet ski has been released from prison and is back in England today. He didn't serve the four weeks he was sentenced with. I'm assuming he will be allowed to return to Scotland before we go into lockdown on Boxing day.

                    I'm sorry to hear your sad news John, my condolences to you and your family.
