Overcast and breezy.
Started out at 2C but seems to be rising steadily even though no sunshine.

Forecast is worrying, but then it often is these days, no flooding around here, 80mph gales is my worry, anything above 70 mph causes damage in this area.

Batten down and hunker down....gonna get messy overnight along the south coast from west to east....

 

Non stop rain all day and windy. 4C/39F

 

2nd time lucky....in for a repeat performance!!

Howling winds whipping around our house tonight currently at 55mph.

Time. 23.06 As I'm using the computer, I must be in the study. Been a quiet day here today but now the wind is really getting stronger.

All has gone quiet outside, so the wind has dropped. NO. I'm not going to pop outside to check the temperature. How I fear for those who are in flood areas. My bottle of scotch seems to be draing. Perhaps there's a leak. Never mind. Times past I might have nudged and asked. Are you awake?. Sorry. Those in a similar state will understand. Nite nite.

What a night !!!

7c clear skies at 6am but raining now

 

Well a disturbed night with Storm Bella stomping around the place like a stroppy adolescent, gusts over 50mph and an inch of rain since midnight.
Now 6°C and not rising much above that until the New Year.
When it gets a bit lighter I shall have a mooch around the boundary to see if there is any damage to fix or stuff to just tidy up.

 

Last night was very windy and heavy rain, but it didn't stop me from sleeping.

Now light rain showers and a gentle breeze from the west south west temp 1c
