Ooh I've not seen them in a super market. Only in Lincoln at the cheese shop and in a deli in Cleethorpes. I keep meaning to look it up online.

Still having the same dinner, love it. Made some for the boys too, but I don't cook with salt added and no gravy for them.

I've just googled it,the black as coal cheese it's black in colour and infused with edible charcoal and made in Lincolnshire.

Pregnant women used to eat coal but i didn't.

If you can find it, try Sao Jorge from the Azores.

                      Is that charcoal cheese?

One of 'Pedro' Pete's cheeses is a charcoal (goats) cheese The Little Village Dairy. I didn't realise I liked goats cheese until I tasted a few of his.

                        What is a Brexit stockpile?
Any hints on what it contains?
Only I haven't got one, do you think I should.
If its just toilet rolls I'm not interested:smile:.

I'm waiting for them to bring back duty free stuff.

361 Tins, jars, etc., bought 75% off with dents, torn labels, free from Sainsburys when their New Nectar Card offers could be stacked and used for unlimited number of purchases and we created numerous accounts (often the value of bonus Nectar points exceeded the purchase price!), Princes tinned products obtained free using printed coupons that were one per email and we have over 300 email addresses, etc.

33 Packs of pasta obtained free from Tesco & Morrisons when there were printable coupons available, one per physical address, so we simply used 400 other addresses when inputting details online to get 400 free jars of pasta sauce and packs of pasta.

Over 1 freezer full of vegetarian products, Quorn bought reduced to clear for 10p/pkt when they were changing the recipes to vegan, and some free Linda McCartney stuff still left when you could print multiple £1 off coupons and Morrisons had it on special offer at £1 each.

Numerous products bought from B&M when they reduce items to 10p each and we would fill our trolley.

Packs of frozen Mackerel fillets caught from Chesil Beach last year (only 2 left now), plus Sea Bream/Bass/Plaice fillets bought from Tesco at 90% off when they put loads of reductions out really early and we filled our trolley before anybody else saw it.

About 10 Kg of cheese bought at around £2/Kg when on offer at Lidl or reduced at Morrisons and frozen.

                          Etc.

100 Gallons of homebrew wine and cider.
