I do sometimes think ‘we’ take too much notice of politics/politicians. Generally speaking, do they really make much difference to the way we live our lives? There’s a saying, “the more things change, the more they stay the same”. Certainly true of Brexit, I feel. Certainly politics makes for epic talking points, but ultimately, politics is divisive.

 

Ouf! It was Freddy that agreed Hopefully none of the aforesaid ladies belong to GC, ARMANDII. Otherwise, I wouldn't fancy your chances of reaching 2021

 

While we're into sayings....'Divide and rule'. There's more than a grain of truth in that one!

I never read anything in the info about the jab and drinking. I go for my second jab Saturday 2.1.21

Apparently, at the close of the sessions. Vaccines left over, due to some patients failing to turn up. Anyone can have a jab, otherwise the vaccine is thrown away, due to the storage rules.

My twin Son has now recovered from Covid19 and boy did he have a rough time,as a bus driver his chances were raised of course. Now his twin sister, my beautiful daughter will get her results this morning. Her Husband was tracked and traced 5 days ago and proved to be positive so he has been held up in a small bedroom now for that period. Daughter is a carer so knows how to be completely on the ball with all safety measures. You know she almost wishes she has it, get it over with, just so the two of them can live theirs lives again. Brings it home to you just how it really is at the mo. No sad faces please,just me talking it out,can't do me anything but good....

 

Mike, presume you get the vaccine notification by post. How do you then confirm that the time and place is acceptable or not? Hoping to get mine next month.
I do hope the people who don't turn up without cancelling, go right to the back of the queue, i.e. 2022

 

Does it work like that? I thought one of the nastier characteristics of the virus is that you're not necessarily immune to getting it twice? Although that makes nonsense of the vaccination programme.

 

I get a text message confirming appointments, which I can change. This instance, it was confirming an appoinment and sking if I'd like the vaccine at the same time. I replied yes please.

Because at this moment they have to be apart which is very hard for them as my daughter is now in remission from having a double mastectomy and all her arms glands removed on one side so obviously her arm is twice the size that it should be and although there is not much she cannot do now some assitance from your beloved is very important to her. If she is positive with the covid19 they can be together again...that was all...
