    Just wonder if a vaccine like the Pfizer one would ever be practical on large scale in India.
    Which could well be the reason for not wanting to sell it there.

    India could perhaps divert some money from their space programme if they really want the expensive vaccine, or they could use some of the foreign aid they receive.;)

      The US Media is branding the new variant Covid19 as the "UK Variant" despite the fact that there's no proof that it originated in the UK but was just only identified first by the UK:dunno::wallbanging:

                  Oh well. I'm off to the hospital on Saturday for my second jab. Nearly said something else then. Just a play on words. Last time, when the nurse said. All done. My thoughts went back to the comedy days of the Goons. Oh! Nurse. You've deaded me! No laughs, just a kind of. OOOar. Of course most of these great medics probably have never heard of the Goon show.                         When I was in hospital, and still had the trachy in so unable to talk, I had a radio on for company when Mrs C wasn't around - the staff loved this as they loved hearing the music, but it was surprising how many of them didn't know the songs or who sang them... 70's & 80's songs.

                              This is what a brainiac thinks about people who ignore lock down. There will still be parties tonight - generating a 4th wave to follow the 3rd Xmas wave which is about to hit our NHS.

                              People who do not follow social distancing rules or wear masks "have blood on their hands", an intensive care doctor has warned.

                              Prof Hugh Montgomery told BBC Radio 5 Live hospitals were facing a "tsunami" of Covid cases and he feared it would get worse after New Year's Eve.

                                Having been in Tesco this morning for the first time in over a year, it is clear that people do not give two hoots. Yes, most were wearing masks (I saw only one without) but there was little thought about distancing really, and it was much busier when we came out than when we went in so it appeared that it was only going to get worse.
