@Scrungee I looked at those weck jars on amazon and the next sound you heard was me falling off my chair!

Beautiful jars but a little beyond my budget. I'll have to stick with my regular canning jars. I do have a good source for one piece lids anfd they are easy to use.

I've already got over a 1,000 Snowdrops, single form, at the bottom of the garden, which I'm looking forward to seeing poking out of the ground soon.
But I've just ordered 500, double form, Snowdrops and 200 Aconites "in the green" and they should arrive in the middle of February. The plan is to plant the Snowdrops in one hundred "bundles" in five different areas at the bottom of the garden and the Aconites in "bundles" of 50 in four other areas. It'll still take a couple of years to see how effective and successful the planting will be.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

I've not been out in the garden as yet, so I'll make a cup of Coffee and have a wander down to the bottom of the garden and have a look:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

I've ordered a Acer Ukigumo which, hopefully, will arrive in the middle of this month
                        [IMG]
It'll go into a large pot and I think it will go under the Acer Brilliantissimum by the stone seat

Went to Dobbies down the road in MK to get some more grit to finish off my pots. Firstly I was surprised that it was empty!!! Only me in the shop and their staff. I had a vouchers from my grandma so got a few bargains.

Xmas terrarium....ok the contents are hideous but i just wanted the glass bottle £40 reduced to £12!

virginia creepers £2 each. Got some of their xmas trees for £5 each...will look nice in pots by the door and theyre evergreen. Got some oval and tall plastic planters with some ajugas etc in. 4.99 or 5.99 each. Reduced from about £25. Pretty pleased with the purchases. I'll make them look good with my own plants.

was sooo nice to get out of the house for half hour or so. Cabin fever was setting in.
