Dull grey skies, a temperature of 37.9f and very little breeze (unless my anemometer is frozen:scratch::doh::heehee:), and the pressure reading is 994.2hpa. There's still snow and ice around but it seems to be gradually disappearing......one can only hope.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Had a couple of heavy showers yesterday afternoon/evening and I don't think we went over 12c.

Today we started at 6c going to 13c, currently 7c, bright and sunny and under a severe cold warning through Monday.

It is lovely and sunny now 10c and the wind has dropped somewhat.

Having moved here in 2001 we have only had air/heating for the past five years (living room) and three years (bedrooms) and can't remember it so cold for so long. Age and medical issues the past six years may have something to do with it!

In the early years we were wearing shorts and me tank tops in December/January and reverted to jeans/sweatshirts February/March then back to lighter wear in April. After a couple of years you revert to the Portuguese mindset, because even then they thought they were in Antarctica then. Our song was "I think I'm turning Portuguese, I think I'm turning Portuguese ....." We now feel like we are in Antarctica.

Dull grey skies, (well, that's a surprise....not), a temperature of 32.7f , no breeze. There's still some snow and ice on the ground but probably more ice than snow, and the pressure reading is 996.7hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:
